The word “Bonsai” (often misspelled as Bonzai or banzai) is a Japanese term that, literally translated, means “planted in a container”. This art form is derived from an ancient Chinese horticultural practise part of which was then redeveloped under the influence of Japanese Zen Buddhism.
If kept indoors, water every 10-14 days depending on the room temperature. This plant does not want to swim in water as the roots will rot and are shallow. more watering also encourages growth which means more trimming depending on your preference.
*All planters are potted in designer's choice containers.
